Microwave Tortilla Wraps
This will be a recipe favorite. Make 4 tortillas in 15 minutes. Easy, clean eating and low calorie. With only 50 calories and 1 net carb per wrap you can have 1 of these every day.
1/2 cup Buns/Tortilla Mix
1/4 cup carton egg white
1/2 cup boiling water
*optional 1/4 tsp salt
Pour the tortilla mix into a bowl or stand up mixer. Add in egg white and start to blend. Pour in boiling water. Blend until a gelatinous dough ball is formed.
Cut dough ball into 4 even pieces. Roll each piece into a round ball.
Flatten each ball, between parchment paper and roll or press into approx. 7 inch circle.
Microwave each tortilla on a microwave safe plate, on parchment paper for 2 minutes (based on 900 w microwave on high)
Let tortillas dry for 30 minutes on a rack or paper towel. Keep wrapped and refrigerated for 1 week. Or freeze.
*make curry tortillas by adding 1/4 - 1/5 tsp curry powder.
