Chocolate and Coconut Oil Donuts

The Chocolate Cake Mix works great for baked donuts. Coconut oil is my choice of fat for these. The coconut oil gives the cake a heavier donut taste.  I also like to thin the chocolate with coconut oil for the glaze. 

You can get really creative with these, try chopped nuts, toasted coconut or how about diced bacon. I like plain vanilla extract but feel free to try something else - orange or raspberry.

You can feel good about bringing these donuts to the office.

Use a piping bag and fill the donut pan evenly. Bake for about 12 - 14 minutes at 350 or 325 if you have a convection oven.
