INGREDIENTS CRUST:
1/2  pkg. Cheesy Buns Mix
1/4 cup butter

INGREDIENTS FILLING:
5 eggs
3/4 cup heavy cream (or half whipping cream, half water)
1 - 2 T chives
1 t dried red peppers
2 slices cooked and crumbled bacon
3/4 cup grated cheese
salt, pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees or 325 for a convection oven.

Pour dry mix into stand up mixer. Dice up butter and add to stand up mixer. Mix with a paddle attachment dough forms. 

Press into a well greased glass pie plate. Do not press all the way up the sides leave .5" from the top of plate. The idea is to have the egg mixture go above or even with the crust - exposed almond crust will burn in the oven for this length of cooking time. 

Beat eggs with cream, add chives, peppers, bacon, salt and pepper. Pour into unbaked shell. If any of the crust is exposed just press it down even with the egg mixture.

Bake for 45 minutes at 350.
